Within allesgut, the limited edition ‘24’ makes a concrete connection between photography, video, time, the artist’s book and the exhibition space. Its starting point is the cinematic second: 24 frames per second. What video presents as movement and duration is taken apart here and considered again as photography.
Each of the 24 images is an autonomous photographic work in an edition of 24 copies: 12 in A4, close to the scale of the book and the page, and 12 in A3, which carries the image out of the book into the exhibition space.
