We cut \, reorganize\, and transform these fragments analogously into new collage s in which reality takes shape again. During this three-day workshop: Day 1 – Looking & Collecting We start with a tour of the exhibition of Nicol as van Parys and dive deeper into his unique way of working. Then we head out into the city together. With just your smartphone\, you collect your o wn visual material: details\, textures\, shapes\, architecture\, chance en counters\, and hidden stories. These photos will be developed and form the basis for the following sessions.Day 2 – Cutting & Transforming We will work with our own photographic material. By cutting\, shifting\, combinin g\, and rearranging\, surprising collages emerge in which new images and m eanings become visible.Day 3 – Refining & Presenting We will further ref ine our collages\, make a personal selection\, and present the results to each other. We will take time to discuss the process and the different app roaches together.
